The assembly is nearly complete for Packers Head Coach Matt LaFleur.
On Tuesday, he announced the hiring of a wide receivers coach.
Alvis Whitted comes to Green Bay from Colorado State University where he coached wide receivers the past seven seasons. Whitted played receiver in the NFL, getting drafted by Jacksonville and playing four seasons with the Jaguars before finishing his career with the Oakland Raiders.
Whitted replaced David Raih who was let go to pursue other opportunities, landing with the Arizona Cardinals.
According to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, LaFleur is closing in on a Special Teams Coordinator to replace Ron Zook.
Shawn Mennenga has interviewed for the post and appears to be the front runner. Mennenga was the Special Teams coach for Vanderbilt University last fall after spending the prior seven seasons as the assistant Special Teams coach with the Cleveland Browns.
Heading into the Super Bowl weekend, here's how LaFleur's staff has taken shape:
Offensive Coordinator - Nathaniel Hackett
Quarterbacks - Luke Getsy
Tight Ends - Justin Outten
Offensive Line - Adam Stenavich
Running Backs - Ben Sirmans *
Wide Receivers - Alvis Whitted
Defensive Coordinator - Mike Pettine *
Defensive Line - Jerry Montgomery *
Inside Linebackers - Kirk Olivadotti
Outside Linebackers - Mike Smith
Defensive Backs - Jason Simmons *

Aside from the Special Teams Coordinator and possibly and assistant on Special Teams, LaFleur is still looking for a position coach for safeties along with quality control assistants on both sides of the ball.
