"Dammit" was Blink-182's second single from their second album Dude Ranch. The song was written in only 5 minutes by bassist, Mark Hoppus, about a fictional relationship with a girl who wants to break up with him and he accepts that as part of growing up. The guitar line was created on an acoustic guitar missing 2 strings.
"Dammit" was the band's first hit single, reaching #11 on the Billboard Modern Rock Tracks chart.
