Zakk Sabbath Set to Re-Record Black Sabbath's Debut Record

Zakk Wylde 's Black Sabbath cover band Zakk Sabbath is re-recording Ozzy Sabbath's epic self-titled debut record in honor of its 50th anniversary.

In an effort to re-create the conditions of the original "Black Sabbath", which was recorded in a single day in 1969, Zakk Sabbath will record their version, live in a fully analog studio, direct to two-inch tape, all in a single 24-hour period.

The session will be filmed for an accompanying documentary with the Zakk Sabbath version of Black Sabbath titled "Vertigo", named after the record company that released the original record.

Set to drop on the record's exact 50th anniversary February 13, 2020,  "Vertigo" will be limited to just 500 copies, which are already sold-out.

You can also catch Zakk Sabbath live on a summer North American trek which includes two SOLD-OUT shows at The Machine Shop August 19th & 20th.
