Today's song is from the year 2000! It's Fuel's second big hit after "Shimmer", and stayed at number 1 on the US Rock charts for 12 weeks! "Hemorrhage" was written about a difficult time in songwriter Carl Bell's life, watching his grandmother suffer from cancer.
Fun fact, former American Idol contestant Chris Daughtry performed this song on the show in 2006! During this time, Fuel was out a lead singer, and came out on the air and personally invited Daughtry to sing for the band! He politely declined however, and formed his own band.
