Only 4 days remain in the 2019 sturgeon spear fishery on Lake Winnebago. There were 13 sturgeon registered today with Stockbridge Harbor leading the way with 5 fish, followed by Waverly Beach (3), Calumet Harbor (2), Payne’s Point (2) and Wendt’s (1). Todays harvest brings the season total to 373 fish from Lake Winnebago and 680 fish registered from the entire Winnebago System. The largest fish of the day was registered at Waverly Beach by Gregory Radtke of Weyauwega.
