MARSHFIELD, WI (WSAU-WAOW) - Police are searching for a suspect in an early morning shooting in Marshfield. Yhey’re searching for 37-year-old William Crowley IV.
According to Marshfield PD the shooting happened on the 600 block of South Cherry Ave. around 1am Saturday.
Police say Crowley shot a 31-year-old in the stomach. Both the victim and suspect allegedly left the residence before police arrived. They say the victim was found at Elixir Nightclub and was taken to the hospital. His injuries are non-life threatening.
Police are investigating what led up to the shooting.
Crowley is a convicted felon, and is not allowed to have a firearm. He's 5-foot-11, 155 pounds with blond hair and hazel eyes. Police say he may still be armed.
