WILD ROSE, WI (WSAU) - There was a fatal house fire on Christmas afternoon in the Town of Rose in Waushara County. The victim's name won't be released until family members are notified.
County dispatchers received a report of the file on 17th Drive around noontime. Firefighters said the home was fully engulfed when they arrived. After is was put out, a body was discovered inside.
Firefighters from Wild Rose, Hancock, Saxeville, Poy Sippi, Plainfield and Wautoma reponded.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
