MADISON, Wi (WSAU) The Wisconsin mens basketball team won their exhibition opener on Friday night with an 82-70 win over D-3 UW-Oshkosh.
The Titans, returning 4 starters from a D-3 final appearance last season, couldn't keep up with the Badger fast break as Wisconsin built a 27 point lead in the first half.
Brad Davison led the Badgers with 16 points. Ethan Happ and Khalil Iverson had 13 each and Nate Reuvers added 11.
D'Mitrick Trice returned from his injury and had 9 points, four rebounds and four assists. Kobe King, also back from injury had 9 points.
Wisconsin officially opens the season Tuesday night as they host Coppin State at the Kohl Center.
