PARK FALLS, WI (WSAU) -- A 46-year-old Spooner woman was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Price County near Park Falls on Tuesday.
Highway Patrol officials say Amy Lee Kruger was a passenger in a 2001 Chrysler PT Cruser driven by a 26-year-old Spooner man when the vehicle rolled into the ditch while negotiating a curve along State Highway 70.
Kruger was pronounced dead after being transported to a nearby hospital. The driver, identified as Travis Jay Stout, and a passenger, 39-year-old Jason David Kruger, were treated for non-life-threating injuries.
Officials are continuing to investigate the crash. Alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the incident. Both Stout and Jason Kruger were wearing seatbelts, Amy Kruger was not.
