MILWAUKEE, Wi (MetroSource-WSAU) Christian Yelich hit a two-run walkoff double to lead the Brewers to a 5-4 win over the Cardinals in Milwaukee.
Yelich also homered in the first inning for Milwaukee, which tied an MLB record for consecutive games with a home run to begin the season.
Milwaukee rallied from a 5-1 deficit with two runs in the seventh inning and two in the ninth. Jacob Barnes got the win for the Brewers, who have won three-of-four to begin the season.
Former Wisconsin Woodchuck Paul DeJong homered for St. Louis.Matt Carpenter and Paul Goldschmidt also went deep for the Cardinals. Jordan HIcks was saddled with the loss after blowing the save for St. Louis.
