STEVENS POINT, WI (WSAU-WAOW) -- A former Stevens Point school Principal is being investigated by the Department of Public Instruction.
WAOW TV reports Scott Huff, who resigned his post at Jefferson Elementary in November, is the subject of an investigation into allegations of misconduct.
Huff was accused of making staff at the school feel uncomfortable and for violating policies regarding the supervision, restraint, or seclusion of a student. Additionally, he was accused of not following directives from a supervisor.

Following their own investigation, the Stevens Point school board was going to recommend the termination of Huff's employment at their December 10th meeting. Instead, Huff submitted his resignation in late November, citing the stress of the job as the reason why.
Huff added that if he was making anyone feel uncomfortable, he wasn't aware of it.
Officials with the DPI did not provide details of their investigation.
