Employee found guilty in Stevens Point tavern robbery

STEVENS POINT, WI (WSAU) -- The Stevens Point woman who said she was robbed at gunpoint while opening the 13th Floor Canteen only to later reveal she was in on the heist has been found guilty of the crime.

Vicki Marie Ladecki entered a no contest plea to one count of being a party to felony theft for the July 14th incident in which two masked men walked into the tavern and made off with more than $10,000.

Ladecki originally entered a not guilty plea to a charge of being a party to the crime of armed robbery, but in exchange for the no contest plea the charges were reduced. A judge then found her guilty and set a sentencing date for February 11th.

Also charged in the case are 37-year-old Charles Miller of Wisconsin Rapids and Taydisa Strassburg, 25, of Mosinee. They face charges of armed robbery and have pled not guilty. Strassburg will have a pre-trial conference on February 11th, Miller has no court action scheduled.
